Okay...but who am I, really?
I am a wife and mother of two young children. I have two adorable fur-babies: a Chihuahua named Gizmo and a Chihuahua-Pekingese mix named Chewbacca. I am an unapologetic fan of all things nerdy including Supernatural, Doctor Who, and Sherlock (oh yes, SuperWhoLock!). I am an amateur violinist and rock climber. I love starting (and occasionally finishing) elaborate arts and crafts projects.
Also, I know firsthand the challenges of Eating Disorder Recovery and the daily struggles that come along with it. I have been recovered for over a decade and can now fully enjoy life. The Good, the Bad, and everything else. Yes, I know the clinical side of Recovery but I also know what cannot be taught from a book or lecture. And it goes beyond empathy. It is Understanding.
